Two weeks ago I met a very interesting person who told me that he would like to revolutionize the IT sector. He has developed a software (90% finished) to strike a new path. The product is calld “MyPM” and can be described as follows:
“MyPM” is a method to:
- describe business processes and their connections as hierarchical model
- describe these business processes in a clear form, precisely and as detailed as desired
- create automatically software from these descriptions
- combine analysis, design and implementation
- describe business processes and data simultaneously
- create databases automatically from the model description
- describe business processes without having to think of software development
“MyPM” is a new way of software development.
The only problem is that no one takes him seriously, most of them think he is a fool. I think that he is certainly not a fool but if he is really going to revolutionize the software I cannot tell.
His background: He worked at IBM and was responsible for several IT projects in Austria and abroad. Some time ago he had been retired. As he did not want to spend his time by doing nothing special he has developed this programme built up on the experience he gained and financed by himself. He can demonstrate the programme at any time and he is a data base expert.
What he would need: Being taken seriously, a partner for commercialization who helps him to finish his programme ready to sell.
I ask myself if we are really talking about a genius or does it sound better than it actually is? The person I am talking about will hopefully comment on my article!
