Successful participation to the European Community programmes demands quite a bit of self-promotion.

Evaluators tend to judge European dimension of consortia by the number of countries participating to the project. Co-ordinators are, therefore, often obliged to put on board partners that they do not know from before.

How to find them?

Slovenia Your Co-Operation Partner is a partner-search portal that has been running over 5 years now. It consists of a CD that provides an interface, which guides it users through Slovenian databases with descriptions of researchers, enterprise, public administration etc. In short, with the portal and CD ROM you can explore most of Slovenian free databases in less than 5 minutes.

The most important database for researchers is SICRIS (SlovenIan Current Research Information System ) which include names of all research groups organized at public institutes and within enterprises, their current research projects, and contact details.

The CD idea proved very successful, therefore, its publisher Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA) from Brussels issues its 3rd edition in January 2006.

The launch was organized at the European Parliament premises and strongly supported by 7 Slovene MEPs.
