New FP6 calls for SMEs

In December several new calls were published at Cordis website. Let us take a closer look at some of those where our SMEs have a chance to succeed.

Totally 52 mil. EUR will be spent for Specific Targeted Research Projects (STREP) and Co-ordination Actions (CA) in the area of Citizens and Governance in a knowledge-based society. The deadline for the 2nd call proposals is 13 April 2005.

EUR and the closing date of 17 March 2005.

Research centres, research institutes and consultancy firms are excluded. At least two participants must be RTD performers (having the capacity to carry out research at the request of the SMEs). Other legal entities, such as enterprises or end-users that make a particular contribution to the project and to solving specific problems or needs of the SMEs involved may participate, though not in a dominant role.

Similar call was announced for Collective research projects with the budget of 65 mil. EUR and the closing date of 26 May 2005.
